This Rare Ticket is Highly Sought After by Elvis Collectors as it is sadly'the Concert that Elvis never made', since he passed away tragically the day before on Tuesday, August 16, 1977. Forty-three years later, the ticket is still unpunched and untorn -- and that's how it will stay forever -- for Elvis Presley's 1977 concert in Portland. All the wardrobe cases were packed and ready when Elvis sadly passed away on August 16, 1977 at his Graceland estate in Memphis, Tenn. He was 42 years old. As of 2020, he's been gone for as many years as he lived. The passage of time hasn't dimmed the love that fans feel for his many hit songs like "Heartbreak Hotel, " "Love Me Tender" and All Shook Up.
