Here is a very rare, Elvis Presley No 2 UK LP. Long Play CLP 1105 Mono. This particular album version came out in 1956. The year stamp, on the back of the cover, is difficult to read.
But, it'looks' like, that last digit should be a 7. This particular LP, from the best of my knowledge, was only available in the UK from 56-57. The cover is not in the best condition. It has a few nasty rips, and, creases. But, it's still holding together, and, it's very glossy.
I'm not sure what they covered the sleeve with, but, it's sure holding it's gloss, after all of these years. It's pretty cool, despite being a little abused. The vinyl has scratches, here and there. And, it looks to have some sort of film, possibly from the sleeve? I believe it will clean up nicely, despite having some scratches.
(I tried to get the vinyl in the best possible light to where you could see the surface). I do not have any vinyl cleaning supplies. This one should be cleaned with something that's not too harsh, in my opinion. They might be all the same?? The album should clean up rather nicely from the looks of it. The maroon and gold labels are in great condition, as well. I've been holding onto this for a while, but, it's time to let it go.
