RARE Original 1960s Vintage Elvis Presley knit vest and matching hat set by Cathy, Thousand Oaks, California. Authentic early Elvis fan-era merchandise, produced during the initial rise of Elvis Presley. Cathy of Thousand Oaks pieces are among the most desirable West Coast novelty knits associated with early Elvis fandom, and complete matching sets are seldom encountered.

The vest features a repeating portrait motif of Elvis with integrated script, executed in a period-correct jacquard knit. The matching hat has the same graphic and remains well-formed, completing a highly displayable and cohesive set. Color is Navy and white.

Very well-preserved overall with strong graphics and structure. The vest has one small hole present in the lower waistband on the back (see photo).

This is localized, does not detract from overall presentation, and has been considered in pricing. No pilling, flaws or stretching.

The hat has no holes, pilling, flaws or stretching. Both items have been safely stored in UV-protected and acid-free packaging in a smoke-free home. Early Elvis fan merchandise, particularly non-licensed regional production (non-EPE Elvis Presley Enterprises) is considered scarce. Surviving coordinated knit sets are uncommon and sought after by advanced collectors and archives. This set is a strong candidate for serious Elvis collections, textile archives, or exhibition.
