RARE Elvis Presley on the Ed Sullivan Show. ALL 3 APPEARANCES ON ONE REEL. This film reel is an amazing find. It has All three performances of Elvis Presley when he appeared on the Ed Sullivan shows.

The first appearance was in 1956, Ed Sullivan was in an accident and could not appear so Charles Laughton was the host. Plays well, No Vinegar Syndrome. Probably a dupe as the contrast is not as sharp as I would like it to be but hey its Elvis Presley! Total run time looks to be about 20-25 minutes. Somebody who knew somebody at CBS must have made and compiled this reel.

There are no opening or closing credits and there a no splices between performances. Ed Sullivan kept complete control of all his shows so there are not many Ed Sullivan shows available for sale on the secondary market. Elvis only appeared 3 times on the Ed Sullivan show, after the third time, Col Tom Parker made it so difficult the Ed Sullivan could not deal with him. You can do a quick google search to see what songs he sang and additional information.
